I met up with this family this past weekend to take some holiday photos. I have known Leslie for quite a few years and she is always a blast to be around! I was playing around with some of the photos and decided to try something a bit different...hope you like it! More pictures to come soon!

I am so lucky to have friends who let me take random photos of them. I am even luckier that all my friends are absolutely beautiful inside and out.

I wish I could give them all they have given to me.
For them to be able to feel how much love I have for them because words can never be enough.
I want them to live another 50 years or so.
Call it selfish if you must but if they were your parents you would feel the same.
I can't claim to be a perfect daughter but I will promise to love you both way beyond your lives here on earth.
I wish I could give you both the world and everything you've always wanted because you both have made it your mission to do the same for me.

Random Photo #6

This last weekend I drove down to Iowa. Whoever talks bad about living in Iowa must not have seen the same part of Iowa I did. It was gorgeous! The leaves were all still so vibrant, there was a park every mile or so and the people were all so friendly. I will soon have some pretty great photos to share of the family I visited while there and their adorable new little baby boy but for now I just had to post a photo of the leaves.

Gunnar+Betty

I am so lucky to be able to photograph such lovely couples, especially couples who are as in love as Betty and Gunnar. It was a gorgeous fall day and Gunnar pulled out his best tie for the occasion while Betty put on her pink tutu and painted her nails to match. Who knows....maybe I will soon be taking their wedding pictures. ;)
