Sisters

My grandma and I recently went on a trip together to Washington. We spent almost a week with her younger sister, Janet. I will carry with me all our wonderful memories from that trip for the rest of my life. Grandma and I have always been very close but after spending a week together traveling we are closer then ever. I don't think either one of us really wanted to come back home!
I only brought my point and shoot camera with me on our trip but I did still manage to get a good photo of my grandma and her sister walking arm in arm along the beach. Each time I look at this photo I am reminded of what a special trip it was and how I am so very blessed to have such an amazing woman to call my grandma.

One of my favorite things to do in my photographs is take a prop and place it in a completely random spot. For example-a chair in the middle of a driveway. This photo was taken during my wonderful session with Claire and Ben this last Sunday.

I don't know how I get so lucky to be able to photograph such beautiful children. I am too excited to wait until I get through all the photos so here is a sneak peak of my photo shoot today.

Today I spent the day with one of my best friends and her two beautiful children. I would have been happy just seeing them today but I was ecstatic that I got to see them AND take photos of them! Here is a little sneak peak....more to come later!
