Lisa + Adam

Lisa and Adam were the first of many fun photo sessions for me this weekend. I couldn't think of a better way to start the weekend! Lisa and Adam are so adorable and their dog Macy definitely made for some fun shots as well!

Bree

What a day it was! Bree met me downtown and together we searched the downtown scene for good places to take photos. Bree was a bit uneasy in front of the camera at first but in no time at all she looked like she was a modeling pro! My backseat was filled with clothes, props and even tutu's. :) I was ECSTATIC that I was finally able to use the tutu I made and even happier that Bree was the one modeling it for me!!!
Thanks for a wonderful, fun filled day, Bree. Keep me in mind when you need some photos to send off to America's Next Top Model :)

Exciting News!

In exactly 5 days I will be off to Jamaica to photograph a wedding!!! This will be my first destination wedding and I am so excited it's hard to sleep at night! haha. And then, as if Jamaica wasn't enough, I will be heading to Colorado to spend time with my nephew and sister. While in Colorado I have arranged to meet up with a local photographer to talk photography and do a little photo shoot of my nephew in Loveland, CO.

Honestly....is it Wednesday yet?!

I am sure I will have tons of photos to post once I return from my glorious 2 weeks of fun filled photography adventures!

Charlie

I was so excited to meet little Charlie for the first time! He was every bit as cute as I thought he would be but a lot smaller then I am used to. Normally when people in our family have babies they are BIG babies but not Charlie. Charlie was the perfect LITTLE boy all wrapped up in an adorable package. Maybe I should explain who Charlie is....Charlie is the first born child to my best friend/cousin Katie. Because they live several hours away I wasn't able to see Charlie until he was just about 5 weeks old. It is still a bit odd to me that "my" Katie is a mom now but she is SUCH a wonderful mom. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that someday we will live closer to each other so I can watch my best friend raise her perfect little boy.

This next one cracks me up! The look on his face is one of pure exhaustion and I don't blame the poor little guy after all we put him through just to get a few pictures.

The "O" Family "Sneak Peak"

I met up with this family this past weekend to take some holiday photos. I have known Leslie for quite a few years and she is always a blast to be around! I was playing around with some of the photos and decided to try something a bit different...hope you like it! More pictures to come soon!

I am so lucky to have friends who let me take random photos of them. I am even luckier that all my friends are absolutely beautiful inside and out.

mom + dad

I wish I could give them all they have given to me.
For them to be able to feel how much love I have for them because words can never be enough.
I want them to live another 50 years or so.
Call it selfish if you must but if they were your parents you would feel the same.
I can't claim to be a perfect daughter but I will promise to love you both way beyond your lives here on earth.
I wish I could give you both the world and everything you've always wanted because you both have made it your mission to do the same for me.
